UNDERWATER ROV CAMERA FAQs
What is an ROV camera?
A Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) camera is a core part of an ROV system. An ROV may have just one wide angle, font-facing camera or may have additional rear-facing cameras, and camera integrated onto manipulators or boom arms for additional angles during a mission. Having an offset camera provides a way to deal with the lack of depth perception often experience from having only one camera.
Do I need anything additional to operate the ROV Camera?
Is there a warranty policy and protection plan?
All Reach Robotics products come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty for 1 Year. Warranty extension plans are available.
What are ROV cameras used for?
ROV cameras are used for complex interventions and inspections. They enable greater perception during remote operations and Close Visual Inspection (CVI) of confined spaces and surface conditions from your ROV manipulator or your ROV directly.
How deep can Underwater ROV cameras go?
The Subsea Camera has a depth rating of 300m.
Do ROV cameras work on the land?
The Subsea Camera can be used on land just as underwater. It is designed for low-light video, is scratch-resistant, and is built to withstand any harsh environment.
