EXPERIENCE UNDERWATER VISION

Your eyes, underwater

The Micro IP ROV Camera provides excellent image quality in harsh environments. Available in combination with a Reach Alpha or Reach Bravo manipulator arm system, or as a stand alone product for your own underwater ROV, the Micro IP camera is the perfect companion tool to improve situational awareness, task accuracy and efficiency.

Enable Close Visual Inspection (CVI) of confined spaces and surface condition from your ROV directly or from your ROV manipulator. Suitable as forward-facing or rear-facing camera, or offset on a boom arm for an extra perspective during operations.

LIVE FEEDBACK

Never miss a beat with our underwater camera

Plug-and-play to stream in real-time via the Reach Control Software Interface or route through your own IP software interface. Featuring a live feedback function equipped with auto-orientation, the interface is designed for ease of operation regardless of the cameras rotational movement so you can inspect hard-to-reach spaces and record accurate data with ease. UNDERWATER ROV CAMERA FAQs

A Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) camera is a core part of an ROV system. An ROV may have just one wide angle, font-facing camera or may have additional rear-facing cameras, and camera integrated onto manipulators or boom arms for additional angles during a mission. Having an offset camera provides a way to deal with the lack of depth perception often experience from having only one camera.

For stand-alone operation, we supply this ROV camera with an unterminated whip that mates with the camera via an Impulse IE55 connector. Once integrated with your vehicle’s IP communication and power system, there are a few simple steps to access the HD IP feed. We supply a setup manual that covers this.

All Reach Robotics products come with a standard manufacturer’s warranty for 1 Year. Warranty extension plans are available.

ROV cameras are used for complex interventions and inspections. They enable greater perception during remote operations and Close Visual Inspection (CVI) of confined spaces and surface conditions from your ROV manipulator or your ROV directly.

The Subsea Camera has a depth rating of 300m.

The Subsea Camera can be used on land just as underwater. It is designed for low-light video, is scratch-resistant, and is built to withstand any harsh environment.

Command Pods

Command Pods are a pair of space mouse controllers comprising of left and right units. They are designed to attach to an ROV control tablet and allow full system control from one interface. The Command Pod configuration simplifies control of a dual-manipulator system as operators are able to intuitively control both arms, while still piloting the vehicle.
The joystick model allows for arms to be directed towards a target while the system automatically maps the arms configuration along that path.

MASTER ARMS

Compatible with all Reach Robotics manipulators, the Master Arm controller is available in five and seven-function models to mimic your robotic arm. Achieve unparalleled precision and accuracy while undertaking complex tasks including:
  • Precise placement of probes for crack and corrosion monitoring.
  • Place and recover objects with unmatched dexterity and minimised
    workload.
  • Attach hooks and shackles consistently.
  • Reach confined areas unreachable with lower degree-of-freedom manipulators
    and traditional control methods.
